Our client, a world’s leading food service company is hiring a data scientist intern, this internship is based in Xujiahui Shanghai, and will be moved to a formal role after 2 months. very good opportunity.  Payroll after probation period 8K-10K

A snap shot of the role itself;

•        Working closely with the Digital & Big Data Analytics Manager and build the capability within their in-house Data Analytics offerings
•        Develop and implement solutions from data analytics and insights to enable the business to increase quantity and quality of business
•        Act as a internal expert to help the other members within the team and further advance their knowledge regarding to data analytics / AI
•        Identify what data, both internally and externally, are available and relevant, as well as leveraging the new data analytical skills.
•        Work closely with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Collaborate with agency to investigate relevant sources of information and technology / analytical details, serve as the communication bridge between internal experts and outside execution teams
•        Apply advanced statistical and predictive modelling techniques to build, maintain and improve on models developed in-house or from 3rd party agencies. Continuous improve the model of Corporates’ CRM system and E-tailor platforms including: online advertising targeting, customer segmentation, product-customer targeting, promotion design and prediction etc.
•        Carry out research on statistical, Machine Learning and Deep Learning methods and technologies that could offer potential competitive advantages

Ideal qualifications/background;

•        Exposure to some of the following is strong plus but not necessary; SQL, R and Python (training will be provided by the external agency)
•        University level degrees from one of the following is essential; Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer science or from marketing / finance degrees with strong interests in data analytics
•        Strong problem-solving skills
