VIP Research & Management (VIP) is a regulated investment advisory company based in South Korea, with total assets under management of USD 1.3 billion. Our history roots back to 2003 when Peter Kim and JC Choi co-founded the company to pursue value investing, at the time a rare investment strategy in Korea. Our AUM is comprised of funds from high net worth individuals, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds. Since 2015, we have been actively expanding coverage to the Greater China Region, with our offices in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China.

Internship – Investment Associate:
We look for students striving to become value investors in the Greater China Region. Your job is to identify the best investment opportunities available in the public market. To do so, you are expected to conduct in-depth company & industry research, quantitative screening, management meetings, and other peripheral work supporting senior managers. Your insights will help us make long-term investments.
From experience, we learned that this job requires a multi-year endeavor. It requires passion and perseverance from both you and us. We promise to do our best to support you throughout your internship. General Requirements:
- The internship would take place in Shenzhen, China.
- We prefer candidates with strong passion for value investing, as well as good knowledge in equity investment, financial statement analysis, and excel (VBA).
- We require candidates to be fluent in Mandarin and English.
- This opportunity is open for both undergraduates and graduates. We welcome candidates of all nationalities.

Remuneration:
- Monthly compensation and housing subsidy.
